ESE ES MI HERMANO 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Excellent educational content from SAGES for practicing Foregut and Bariatric Surgeons! Thank you to the panelists and foregut task force, excellent resource.
I’ve suffered with SOD for over 20 years, the onset was about age 40, my weight was normal and of course I had no bypass surgery. I’m currently getting ready to go to a new physician after a move. I was hoping there had been advances in treatment, and wanted to discuss it with my new doctor.I was looking to get my Nitrostat prescription renewed, which I have been taking for over 10 years to control my SOD episodes. I actually found this treatment on a European blog. I had the sphincterotomy, was pain free for one year. I had a follow up ERCP, at which point I could no longer take codeine derivatives, without having an episode. My pain was so severe, that I vomited, and had to lay on the floor away from my family until they passed. This is no simple inconvenience. It was excruciating. And within two minutes of taking the Nitrostat, the pain resolved, sometimes coming back in 20 minutes, but no more than two episodes consecutively. This is a massive improvement over writhing in pain, for 30 minutes or more. My daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer, six years ago, and was put on the keto diet. As I was cooking for her, I went on the diet as well. I have had zero episodes since. This compares to one or two a month minimum, usually following a high fat meal, but sometimes just cherries or an apple. I don’t understand why this research has not moved forward. I am sad for all the people like me who are given pain medicine, which, by the way doesn’t work quickly enough to help. I was put on preventative medicines, neither worked.
Im interested for advance endoscopy training
More red carpet treatment. Extended deadlines, more and more cases, prfessional mediation and no results, meanwhile the victims will esentially get honey potted. Heres one yr of credit monitoring thx goobye. Sickening.
You're presenting information from a study that examines "30-day outcomes and 1-year recurrence rates"? Are you kidding? What about ten years out? Or twenty years after surgery? How is the "mesh" doing then? What's that you say? "We have no answer for that"? Yeah. And this presentation is a joke.
I am 53. I had my appendix removed in 1989. I had my gal bladder removed in 2011, due to gal stones. I had kidney stones, due to drinking to many sodas. I stopped drinking sodas after passing the stones. May 6th of 2023, I had a part of my upper intestine removed with a ruptured tumor. Last month, I had a CT scan with Iodine. Now I have an enlarged liver, and also have hypodense lesions measuring 10mm. Will I need surgery? I have never smoked, nor taken any illegal drugs, and stopped drinking alcohol in 1990, and no longer drink sodas. The CT scan also shows I have an enlarged spleen, and I am just really worried. My right side hurts, and I am always bloated after eating. My dr. is on vacation right now...
I have subscribed to your UA-cam channel. And noticed some problems. For example, the video has less views, and no likes and comments. Videos are not SEO friendly. SEO related description title hashtag not used. And many more problems. Solving these will definitely get more views.💚💚💚💚💚
Excellent dissection, congratulations !
Good job with anatamosis👌
Superb
Open from the beginning and do it within an hour,,,, Laparoscopic!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the presentation I extremely agree that conversion is not a solution and a difficult laparoscopic case will be more difficult using open surgery although i have done hundreds of open cholecystectomies I also support laparoscopic cholecystectomy tube after early recognition of the difficulty and early smelling of the danger because the further you proceed the harder you can go back I also agree with partial cholecystectomy if you proceeded further and felt unsafe But i don't totally agree that Strassberg CVS is the only way to perform a safe cholecystectomy
I developed magnesium and zinc deficiency and doctors don’t know anything about this
Listen, just had my gallbladder removal surgery 5 days ago. I had a hyperactive gallbladder, 97% EF. With a wide range of symptoms. GERD, bile reflux, slowed gastric emptying, bloating, vomiting small amounts of food, name a symptom I probably had it. 3 years of GI doctors not knowing then blaming stress etc. all symptoms gone upon removal, and I’m guessing it’ll get better as time goes on. If you have a hyperactive gallbladder, don’t think twice, GET IT THE FUCK OUT! Don’t suffer like I did for years. During Hida scan didn’t have many symptoms, other than 97%. Tried every medicine known to GI doctors. Get that gallbladder out.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I've been wrecked for about 7 months and just had HIDA scan that revealed 95% EF.......... My first instinct is to look into how/why my CCK levels might be whacky ~ as the CCK is responsible for gallbladder emptying. CCK actually does quite a few things and a higher presence of it could be why I feel so horrible all the time.
Sidenote: I have no large intestine. I'm now rockin' an ileostomy, so I really need that gallbladder to stay....... just gotta get it chilled the eff out
beautiful video
Well done Sir!
Is distal end was completely excised the retroduodenal cyst? Isn't the stricture rate of CDD is more then RYHJ in long term..what is your take
why does she LIE???????? 1:43 it shows 10-15% recurrence rate without MESH....... That is a 100% LIE , absolute ZERO DATA for this utter NONSENSE........the recurrence rate for open hernia repair no mesh differs and depends on several FACTS...patient age...smoking...BMI.....and MOST IMPORTANT the surgeons SKILL level.......ALL in all one can state WITHOUT having to LIE, that the average recurrence rate of open hernia repair without MESH lies between 1- 5%......The numbers she mentiones are FANTASY NUMBERS and maybe HER OWN numbers which would just proof her totalö INCOMPETENCE. ps. how much money did she get from the Mesh producers? or the robot producers? or the Lapo. instruments producers???
Thank you! I have question. Do you use VARD?
Great lecture. Congratulations.
thank's for teaching us 😗
Great work
great work. thank's a lot
❤
Thank you for making this presentation public, it is very helpful information.
OG GS
My gastroenterologist prescribed Reglan medication for my gastroperisis. He said to use it sparingly. I eat 0-2 meals per day. One time I went a couple of days without eating and still felt energetic. I only deficated during this time. Bloating is the everyday symptom.
❤❤
Good work
Amazing lecture!🤩
very helpful information, thx!
Nice tips and tricks. Thank you
Can i get Scholarship?
Great. Thank you very much for this very wonderful very Excited, very Educative Educative Presentations Dr.
I just saw a specialty surgeon from Henry Ford who told me that they think I have candy cane syndrome. If someone who reads this is a medical professional and knows of any good articles about it, would you please direct me toward them? Do these patients also complain of pressure in the chest and abdomen? I do have a hiatal hernia, and they suspect a ventral hernia as well. I'm being set up for CTs, a swallow study, and other testing. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Is this laprascopicly or robotic surgery?
This was really helpful. Is there an update to discuss differences of CC v4.0?
Great presentation Awni my friend
Perfect! Thanks alot for this amazing case presentation
That was very much NOT a low anterior resection, but beautiful nonetheless
How come it’s low AR?
great talk
Why do you do LAR for diverticulitis??
Don’t think that was an LAR….. don’t see any evidence of diverticulitis…. Don’t think BMI was really 35……
Nice sir!!
what about studies on fatigue in SUDD?
Makes sense, watching them melt away within 48 hours felt so good, and yep, I used what I mentioned the other day. It did take a bit more to make them totally disappear, I just go’ogled Melissa Thanderski and followed her simple advice.
SUDD must be studied more im 41 years old male been suffering for 3 years plus with this disease and yes 2 colon resections over 1000000 in bills and the only thing that I pretty much self treated and felt human again was steroids prednisone 3 weeks 40 mg per day.I felt great for 4 months but now i’m back to the same old pain. Any advice ? thank you
